Prof. Rosalia Emma, CoEHAR member and experts on harm reduction and coordinator of Replica project, is today the top 5 candidates in the Social Sciences field for the USERN Prize 2024

The USERN Prize is an international award annually bestowed to junior scientists or researchers less than 40 years of age for any novel advancement or achievement in scientific education, research, or serving humanity in five scientific fields including medical sciences, life sciences, formal sciences, physical sciences, and social sciences.

The Universal Scientific Education and Research Network (USERN) is established as a solution to bring together scientists from all over the world, from the top 1% leading experts to junior researchers. They are governed and led by an Advisory Board comprised of more than 600 members, including 20 Nobel and Abel Laureates, who are considered the top scientists according to the ESI.

Prof.ssa Lia Emma, CoEHAR members: “I applied for USERN Prize 2024 with the Replica project and my application has been selected among the top 5 candidates in the Social Sciences field (although I had applied in the biological sciences section, the judges placed my application among social science). This recognition is especially meaningful as there were over 90,000 nominations this year, demonstrating the high level of competition. The USERN Congress and Prize Awarding Festival took place in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, on November 10, 2024”.
