The results of the REPLICA project are now a benchmark in the development of cutting-edge methodologies and the validation of experimental results in the field of research applied to harm reduction.
To present the latest findings of a study that boasts over 7 collaborations with independent laboratories worldwide, Professor Giovanni Li Volti, project leader of REPLICA, has been invited to participate in the 24th edition of the National Congress of the Italian Society for Cardiovascular Research (SIRC), organized in Imola from October 18 to 20, 2023.
Professor Li Volti will deliver an oral presentation titled “The impact of cigarette smoke and reduced risk products aerosol on endothelial function: the REPLICA project”.
The event will take place on October 19th at 4:05 pm.
The SIRC aims to promote the integration of the latest developments in cardiovascular biology into daily medical practice, in order to bridge the gap between basic research and its therapeutic translation, and to reveal the subtle and intricate molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of the most disabling cardiovascular diseases (myocardial infarction, stroke, peripheral artery disease, heart failure, etc.) in order to identify new and more effective therapeutic targets.
