International webinar in Indonesia

The Universitas Padjadjaran is organizing an online webinar dedicated to tobacco harm reduction strategies in collaboration with the researchers of the Replica project: “Harm Reduction Efforts in Smoking” will be held on Friday, 7th April 2023 at 3 pm GMT+7.

Tobacco harm reduction strategies are a growing field of interest in smoking cessation path and will be the focus of an online webinar organized by the prestigious Universitas Padjadjaran (Indonesia): the meeting will explore the detail update facts of smoking. The webinar is held in collaboration with the Replica project team, a partner of the Indonesian University.

The meeting is organised by dr. Lenny Lesmana, Associate Professor in Physiology, Faculty of Medicine Universitas Padjadjaran and member of the Replica Project-Indonesian partner. He will hold the lecturer “Exploration of protective role of betacarotene in preventing cardiomyoctes H9C2 cell’s Death induced by cigarette exposure“.

The “REPLICA” project is an international study that intends to replicate the most relevant research available on in-vitro studies on cytotoxicity, oxidative stress, genotoxicity, mutagenicity process.

To represent the CoEHAR project, prof. Riccardo Polosa, founder of the CoEHAR, and dr. Rosalia Emma, researcher of the Replica project who will deliver the speech “Regulatory and Scientific dimensions of flavours used in electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS)“.
